The picture on the left is the Aloha Tower by night. We actually arrived in Honolulu on Saturday, a day early, due to a passenger medical emergency.
On Saturday Maui Divers Jewelry had a shuttle to their location, followed by either Waikiki or the Mall. I took the shuttle and had a very informative tour of the factory with an explanation of the items they make jewelry from. Maui Divers Website Sunday Morning I had an easy morning followed by a tour of education on O'ahu. The tour was guided by a family I met on a previous cruise. It included
King Kamehameha School
Punahou
University of Hawai'i
The first two are prestigious K-12 Private Schools with beautiful campuses, Of course the University of Hawai'i speaks for itself. The views of Honolulu are from the campus of King Kamehameha.
I also had a wonderful lunch from a local family run restaurant, with many new tastes for me. It was a great day in Honolulu, but the best part was re-conecting with the Mui family.
